IN CPC SOLUTION,We only carry the latest model of copier machines that are in the industry for only less than a year. During the reconditioning process, we dismantled every parts of the machine and replace all parts that are needed to be replaced. CPC also implemented the system of mobile workforce management software GeoOp to smoothen the workflow of our company. Our technicians with over 20 years of experience are able to transform all copiers to as good as new! It was 5.30am in the morning, we are all up and early ready to volunteer at Willing Hearts, a secular, non-profit charity organisation that provides meals for the less privileged in Singapore. Willing Hearts is wholly run by volunteers, apart from a handful of staff. It operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes about 5,000 daily meals to over 40 locations island wide, 365 days a year. Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low income families, children from single parent families or otherwise poverty stricken families, and migrant workers in Singapore. When we first arrived, we were lost in the midst of the hustle and bustle of activity in the kitchen. There were a few stations which are available for volunteers to help at. Duties include washing of vegetables, cutting and preparing ingredients, opening canned food products, cleaning the area, packing food, delivering food. We highly recommend volunteering at Willing Hearts and make a difference in peoples' lives. Hours are flexible and open everyday.
All we need is a Willing Heart! To all our customers, we would like to wish everyone joy and happiness in the New Year!
During the closure of 2015, our company had organised a sales incentive trip to Philippines Boracay! Its a fun and fulfilling trip to end 2015! Razor-blade makers sell consumers the shaver at low prices and then make a killing selling replacement blades. Printer manufacturers do the same thing--selling their printers on the cheap, at cost, or even at a loss, the manufacturer either makes no profit from the printer itself or loses money, and then making bank on expensive consumables like ink. When considering a new printer, then, it makes sense to take into consideration ink costs. Usually, printer are a popular option for home and consumer use due to the wide availability of small inexpensive models. However, for a business they are usually not recommended. Although the machines and replacement cartridges for ink are less expensive than laser printing, they can end up costing your business more money in the long run. A large amount of laser copiers used in business today are also called digital copiers. Digital copiers include an internal scanner or fax, enabling you to scan, store or send documents using your copy machine. These machines have the advantage of performing the work of multiple devices saving businesses time and money. While photocopiers generally cost more up front than inkjet copiers, the per-copy cost when running a photocopier is much less. For example, a single toner cartridge typically produces thousands of copies, while an ink cartridge only gets you to hundreds-of-copies range. Toner is usually more expensive than ink, but it lasts longer and prints out more pages. Ink is cleaner to work with, but can clog up, smear and make blotches if the print head gets dirty. And if you print infrequently you would risk having the print head dry out. So, do consider these factors before buying a copier or a printer. Two weeks ago, our company volunteered in the Besar Project. The Besar Project is a ration distribution project organised by ThekChen Choling Singapore and Jalan Besar citizens’ consultative committee. The purpose of this project is to ease the burden of the elderly and the needy staying in 3 main areas; namely Jalan Besar CC, Kallang CC, and Geylang West CC. We reached out to 11 blocks of 1-room and 2-room flats, giving out food items and daily necessities. There were 1250 gifts of love distributed to the residents on 17 May 2015. Each gift of love consists of at least 10 food items and daily necessities. The Besar ProjectOur Visit ExperienceThe elderly were all very friendly, offering us drinks and welcoming us to their homes. Some of the houses were clean and tidy. In other homes though, there was a foul smell. Some of the elderly were bed-ridden, had their leg amputated due to diabetes or are sick and unable to move, thus causing them to be unable to clean up their homes. Some have hearing problems; we would have to knock very loud just to get their attention. Most notably, some residents were so receptive that they welcomed us when we had only just arrived at the void decks! Our thoughts after helpingSometimes we feel so frustrated about life, work and problems that we forget to realise that we are actually very fortunate. Being able to walk around freely, being able to take care of people close to us, to be able to work, to have the luxury of good health. These are all things that we always take for granted, especially our own health and people around us.
Through this, we learnt that we should be kind to everyone by being more forgiving even if we are right, as we do not know what unique circumstances are other people facing. We need to take a compassionate step, to see that everyone is suffering or having their own problems in their own way, and not believe that everyone is as fortunate as we are. This is definitely a good experience that will encourage us to help out and volunteer in the future. I’m happy that our company had organised such a meaningful event for all the staff, allowing us to give a helping hand back to the less privileged members of our society. I encourage everyone to reach out to the people in need as much as you can. And in doing so, we can make this world a better place! |
